Olof Mathé

Olof Mathé is an entrepreneur and artist. His practice explores how we communicate and collaborate. Most recently, he co-founded Mixmax, a platform that brings the power of the web to email, making it a more expressive and productive medium.

Together with a bunch of deep computer heads and professional pranksters he started Art Hack Day in 2011, an event for hackers whose medium is art and artists whose medium is tech. Art Hack Day has partnered with Pioneer Works and 319 Scholes in Brooklyn, Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm, Harvard Innovation Lab in Boston, Gray Area in San Francisco, LEAP / transmediale in Berlin and RISD in Providence. The event champions radical collaboration and its ability to foster poetry and expressiveness.
